Jakhu Temple is situated at an altitude of 2455 meters, the Jakhu Temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman , who was the most faithful aide of Lord Rama .The temple is situated amid dense forests at high altitude and the journey can be exhausting . The Jakhu hill the highest peak around Shimla .It is famous for trekking . And it also offers excellent views of sunrise , sunset, mountains and town . The hill is full of narrow paths and roads which are good for enjoyable walks .
